For a recent long ski weekend, I ended up with four people in my car and needed some extra luggage room. We considered buying a car top carrier, but weren't sure we would use it more than a couple times per year. We'd also have to figure out where to store it when not taking road trips. Fortunately, I found Open Road Rentals. Renting a Thule cargo carrier for a week was a tenth of the cost of buying. The location was convenient. I was in and out with the carrier on my roof in 10 minutes. Returning was equally easy. The carrier was in great shape. I would definitely recommend this as an alternative to buying a carrier.

This was my first experience renting a car top carrier, and I now know there's no need to try any other company. The price was fair & the carrier was adequate for our needs. Bob was friendly & easy going which made the whole rental process a pleasure to go through. Bob's primary concern isn't to make as much money off of you as possible, it's to make sure you have a great rental experience. I will definitely go back to ORR next time I need a car carrier rental!
